The en-suite bathroom is well equipped too, with a separate walk-in shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom offers two single beds, while the third contains a queen-sized bed. A second full bathroom is convenient to both of these rooms. And the fourth bedroom, on the ground floor, opens out to the patio. Lovely ocean views are yours in this room, which contains a double-sized bed and a TV. The third bathroom is on the first floor as well, with a separate door leading directly outdoors, so the kids won't track sand in from the beach! A private set of steps leads you down from the dune onto the soft sands, which are perfect for everything from sandcastle-building to sunbathing. Many are realizing in this Covid world that they can work or school from anywhere, and that includes the beach. If you're gonna be stranded, be stranded where there's something to see and do. We are on one of the most isolated beaches in Florida, which makes it perfect for an uncrowded, family vacation.. The house is bordered north and south by single family, oceanfront homes, and on the west by a huge, uninhabited nature preserve. Just a few steps to the east is the Atlantic Ocean, with beautiful sunrises and the sound of endless waves. The closest public accesses are nearly.a mile in either direction, and with no motorized vehicles allowed, you'll only see walkers looking for shells and sharks' teeth. Take a minute to look on the map and at the pictures of the beach. We believe our single family house is a great place to safely enjoy the beach and have fun with your family, while still maintaining some separation from large crowds. If you have read our reviews, you already know that we maintain the house to a high standard, and now we are even more diligent to sanitize between guests. Our fully equipped kitchen will allow you to prepare your own meals and stay as isolated as you desire. Our South Ponte Vedra Oceanfront Home is wonderful as it gets for large and even multi generation families to get together and enjoy each others company while looking at the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. You are immediately greeted by the blue Atlantic Ocean through our wall to wall glass windows and doors. Warm tile floors invite you into the open floor plan where you find the kitchen, dining area, and living room. With no interior walls to interfere, you can literally be in any one of these areas and be able to enjoy each others' company. There is a small game table for playing cards or putting together puzzles. When the night time fun ends, the kids can lay their heads in either of the two twin-over-twin bunk beds. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower and double vanity sinks. Off of the living room, on the 2nd floor, you can step out onto our expansive double-tiered deck. This deck offers the best of both worlds. The upper portion is completely covered offering plenty of shade as soon as the sun gets high enough. Step down a few steps to the large, exposed sun deck. Here you can work on that tan while watching the passers by on the beach. Both decks feature various forms of patio furniture for you to enjoy. The deck has a ramp that leads down to the landing, just behind our sea wall. From there, a few more steps and your toes are in the sand. You will enjoy the beach here, as it is very private and quiet. No driving is allowed on the beach, but if you are here during Sea Turtle Season, you might catch the Turtle Patrol on their early morning ATV ride as they inspect for new nests! There are many activities in the areas in and around South Ponte Vedra. St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, is home to many tourist attractions such as guided carriage rides, historic landmarks, the Fountain of Youth, and many more. There is plenty of shopping, dining, and nightlife in St. Augustine as well. There are several concerts in the outdoor amphitheater each month, as well as live music at some of the local waterfront restaurants such as the Conch House. A short, scenic drive north from Vedra Haven will take you to posh Ponte Vedra and Sawgrass. Here you will find many elegant dining choices, upscale boutiques, cigar stores, and fine jewelry shoppes. Sawgrass is home to the PGA's annual TPC golf tournament. Located in a very private area of single family homes (no high rises or high traffic here!), it is serene and quiet....yet the house is just 6 miles from historic St. Augustine and 15 miles from posh Ponte Vedra. Decorated in an upscale cottage style, with ocean colors, vaulted wood ceilings, and top quality furnishings, Sandpiper's Nest will quickly feel like 'home'! The spacious living-dining-kitchen area is open to the views of the deck , sea wall, beach, and ocean beyond. A large ocean front master suite has a king bed, day bed (with removable railing), desk, large wall mounted TV, and a private bath with walk in shower. The galley kitchen is lovely, with granite counters, large refrigerator, NEW glass top electric range, oven, microwave, toaster and toaster oven, dishwasher, and all the other conveniences that make cooking a pleasure. We also have an extra refrigerator in the garage. The kitchen is situated in the heart of the living area, with no walls to obscure the views of the living and dining areas and the wonderful deck and ocean beyond. The master suite is a peaceful retreat. Located on the ocean side of the house, it contains a king size bed with top quality bedding. The room has a private bath with walk in shower, a large wall mounted TV/DVD player, and a desk for computing or other work. We also have a day bed in the master, which is perfect for lounging or for a toddler. The junior master is on the front of the house and is equipped with a queen size bed, vaulted ceilings, large wall mounted TV, and a private bath. The bunk room is a child's delight. The bed will sleep 3, thanks to the trundle underneath, and the mattresses are regular single mattresses so are comfortable for adults as well as children. This room also has a TV/DVD. A full bath is located in the hall adjacent to this room. You will love the hurricane shutters we have installed on all of the doors and windows! If you like to sleep in a DARK room, just push a button and there you are. The deck is a destination in itself. Running the length of the house, the deck is 12 feet deep, providing lots of space for play and relaxation. Furnished with a round umbrella topped dining table, high bar table and chairs, and many comfortable chairs and loungers, the deck is a delightful spot to read, snooze, or dine. The deck railings have horizontal cables close together so that small children are always safe, and a lockable gate insures that they will stay on the deck. The cables also allow for unobstructed ocean viewing. We have a spacious sea wall which runs the length of our 90 foot property and is "decorated" with beautiful flowers and plants. The "wall" will be covered with sand and heavy polywood yard chairs, allowing for additional outdoor space. The south side of the house is filled with grass and fenced with access from the deck and also from the front parking area.. This is a perfect place to let your dogs run free and take care of business without your having to walk around in the night! Introducing, our newest vacation home, “The Sailfish Cottage”.  This home is new on the vacation home rental market with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. ALL bedrooms and common areas are on the ground floor. Simply put, staying at “The Sailfish Cottage” is a fun!  This is the only oceanfront home we manage that you don’t have to go up and down a flight of steps.  All the common living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the ground floor.  Getting to the beach is almost as easy.  We have pavers from the large screened porch to the seawall where there are only about 5 easy steps down to the beach. Great location, it’s the best of all worlds, first a very private beach, less than 7 minutes from 3 very good restaurants and only about 15 minutes to “Castillo de San Marcos”, known to the locals as, “The Old Fort”.  The fort was built approximately 325 years ago and is the center of the St Augustine activities.  St Augustine has become known for its vast array of culinary delights.  A few examples are the upscale and famous, “The Columbia” established in 1905 with authentic Spanish dishes and Costa Brave with Mediterranean food If you prefer not to go “upscale”, test out some local favorites, “Cap’s” and “Aunt Kates” are about a 6 minute drive or 15 minutes away are “The Ice Plant” “Cellar 6” and many more. The “Sailfish Cottage” is perfect for a honeymoon couple or a getaway for up to 3 couples.  It is also perfect for small families or multiple generations when the grandparents and / or the young children who don’t like to go up and down steps. As soon as you walk in the front door, look straight ahead to the living room with the large sliding glass doors with great ocean views.  Right away you know this is a special beach home.  The living room has very comfortable seating with room for the family and / or friends with views of the Great Atlantic Ocean.  After a day of sun, surf and fun there is a huge TV over the fireplace for your viewing pleasure. Conveniently situated past the dining area is the tastefully remodeled kitchen complete with beautiful granite counters and prep bar.  There is plenty of counter space to prepare a gourmet meal, catch of the day or burgers that you can cook from the complementary gas grill. From the living area is a split bedroom arrangement, to the left is the master bedroom complete with a queen-sized bed, a private ocean view. and bathroom with a large shower. Introducing, our newest vacation home, “The Sailfish Cottage”.  This home is new on the vacation home rental market with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. ALL bedrooms and common areas are on the ground floor. Simply put, staying at “The Sailfish Cottage” is a fun!  This is the only oceanfront home we manage that you don’t have to go up and down a flight of steps.  All the common living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the ground floor.  Getting to the beach is almost as easy.  We have pavers from the large screened porch to the seawall where there are only about 5 easy steps down to the beach.
